This week at Sonas Wanneroo we have enjoyed exploring our big Schoolies room with the Sonas Schoolies.
We collect children from our 3 local primary schools and further extend on their learning day with some fun filled experiences. This week we have explored our make your own playdough station. The children grabbed the recipe and all the necessary tools and ingredients to create the pink dough. As they made the dough an educator helped read out the steps to ensure we were following all the instructions carefully. Once made the children used sculpting tools and cutters to create an array of creative shapes and creatures.
At the end of the experience the children helped wash up and clean up ready to reset their space, showing a growing respect for their environment and a strong sense of care. In the kitchen washing the tools then spraying and wiping down the table for their next learning experience.
