The children discovered a monarch butterfly in our environment and decided to capture it in our safe bug cage.
Upon investigating the insect we identified the different colours that we needed to collect to create our own image of the butterfly using paint.
The children were intrigued to paint a real life insect up close and amazed us with their own interpretation of the monarch butterfly.
