Objective: Child uses memories as a foundation for more complex actions and thoughts.
Today in the STEM room we did lots of scooping, pouring, and transferring using tongs, wooden utensils, spoons, cups, ice cube trays, bowls, gumnuts and cotton balls.
Through this activity it provides children the opportunity to practise hand-eye coordination and visual tracking especially when using the spoon, utensils and tongs. It also teaches the children how much speed and force to use when transferring things from one container to another. Lastly, it provides the opportunity to practise using different kinds of tools.
